This page explains what Life Progress ("we", "the app") collects when you use our AI life planning assistant, how we use it, and the choices you have. This page is maintained by the app owner and is not an independent certification.

Information we collect

• Account information — email, display name, and profile fields you provide during onboarding.
• Financial context — income, expenses, savings, goals, contributions, and decisions you enter to receive personalized guidance.
• Conversations — messages you send to the AI coach and decision analyses you generate.
• Usage metadata — timestamps and counts used to enforce rate limits and improve reliability.

How we use your information

• To provide the dashboard, goal tracking, simulator, timeline, and AI coach.
• To personalize AI recommendations based on your entered context.
• To secure the service and enforce fair usage limits.

AI processing

Chat messages and decision prompts are sent to a third-party AI model provider through our AI gateway to generate responses. Do not enter information you would not want processed by an AI provider. Responses are generated by a language model and may be inaccurate — they are not financial, legal, or tax advice.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security so each account can only access its own rows. We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS) between your browser and our servers.

Your choices

• Edit your profile, currency, and risk profile in Settings.
• Delete individual goals, decisions, or chat threads from within the app.
• Delete your account and all associated data from Settings at any time.

Third-party services

We use managed infrastructure providers for hosting, database, authentication, and AI model access. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
